Odinsa 1H 2025 Net Income Jumps 91% Year-on-Year

Medellin-based highways-and-airports concessionaire Odinsa SA — a division of Grupo Argos — announced August 13 that its first half (1H) 2025 net income soared by 91% year-on-year, to COP$87 billion (US$21.6 million), from COP$45 billion (US$11 million) in 1H 2024.

Revenues also jumped by 65% year-on-year, to COP$159 billion (US$39 million), while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 69% year-on-year, to COP$101 billion (US$25 million), according to the company.

During 1H 2025, “road concessions reported total traffic of 19.8 million vehicles, compared to the 19.0 million vehicles reported in the first half of 2024, a 4% year-on-year increase,” according to Odinsa.

By contrast, airport concession traffic dipped 3% year-on-year, from 25.1 million passengers in 1H 2024 to 24.3 million passengers in 1H 2025, the company noted.

“This slight decrease is primarily due to the decrease in domestic passenger traffic at Opain [in Colombia] and traffic at Quiport [Quito, Ecuador],” the company noted.

On an emerging business front, “Odinsa is making progress in structuring its new platform focused on the water sector. This initiative seeks to capitalize on opportunities in the treatment, reuse, and desalination of this resource, initially in key markets such as Peru, Mexico, Chile, and Colombia,” the company added.
