Odinsa 3Q 2025 Net Profits Jump 54% Year-on-Year
Medellin-based Odinsa – the highways/airports concessions unit of Grupo Argos – announced November 12 that its third quarter (3Q) 2025 net income soared by 54% year-on-year, to COP$175 billion (US$47 million), from COP$114 billion (US$30.7 million) in 3Q 2024.
Revenues likewise rose by 40% year-on-year, to COP$275 billion (US$74 million), while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) jumped 45% year-on-year, to COP$194 billion (US$52 million), according to the company.
“During 3Q 2025, highway concessions reported a total traffic of 10.2 million vehicles, compared to 9.7 million in 3Q 2024, representing year-on-year growth of 4.8%,” according to Odinsa.
“In the case of airport concessions, a year-on-year decrease of 0.9% was recorded, falling from 13.2 million passengers in the third quarter of 2024 to 13.1 million in the same period of 2025. This slight reduction is mainly due to the drop in domestic passenger traffic.”
Meanwhile, Odinsa announced the creation of “Odinsa Aguas”, its new investment platform in water infrastructure, “with the objective of replicating the concession model, already consolidated in highways and airports.”
“This new platform will focus on water treatment, reuse, and desalination projects, and is consolidated with the signing of a purchase agreement for the acquisition of the Mexican company Ticsa, which has more than four decades of experience in the sector.
“Within the framework of this platform, the company continues to explore opportunities in countries such as Chile, Peru, Mexico, and Colombia, as well as in other regions of the world,” the company added.
