InselAir Relaunches Medellin-to-Aruba Nonstop Flights

Dutch Caribbean airline InselAir announced March 8 that — thanks to the recent relaxation of visa requirements – it will resume twice-a-week nonstop flights from Medellin’s international airport at Rionegro to the Caribbean island of Aruba.

“Demand has increased due to the removal of the visa requirement for Colombians in combination with the start of high season,” according to InselA

The 90-minutes, nonstop flights will be operated Wednesdays and Sundays, according to the company.

Thanks to the removal of visa restrictions at year-end 2015, “Medellin has become one of InselAir’s most important routes and we are determined to further develop this route and the Colombian market,”added InselAir chief Edward Heerenveen.
